Fuji Fishing Port is in the Fuji Neighborhood of Shimen District in New Taipei City. With its coast mostly featured with coral stones, the port is located inside a bay, which is on the southwestern side of the northernmost tip of mainland Taiwan – Fugui Cap.

In 1995, Jinshan Fishermen’s Association established Fuji Fish Outlet Center and attracted lots of visitors with its budget and delicious seafood. In 2009, Environmental Renovation Project for Fishing Port and Surrounding Areas (including Aquatic Product Sales Center of Fuji Fishing Port) and improvement works for berth areas and surrounding environment were launched to fulfill the demand of developing local tourism industry, to provide people of the nation travelling options, and to transform Fuji Fishing Port.

Fuji Fishing Port now has a -3.5m water depth wharf of 372m and a berth of 1.9 hectares, and a -3.0m wharf of 474m and berth of 0.95 hectares. Apart from fundamental facilities like breakwaters, wharfs, berths and courses, there are also fish market (which is also the office of fishermen’s office), ship lifter, filling station and facilities related to leisure fisheries.

Vessels of Fuji Fishing Port are mostly engaged in long line, pot and stick-held dip net fisheries. Their main catches are mostly crabs (flower crab, three-spotted crab and ridged swimming crab), grouper, Longfin kob and cuttlefish.
