In the area from the Lioukuaicuo Fishing Port to Qianshui Bay, there were a total of thirteen rock shelters in the early days, forming the Tamsui Tunshanli Rock Shelter Group.
The sandy and gravelly shores and rocky reefs around the Lioukuaicuo Fishing Port have given rise to a rich diversity of intertidal organisms, and many shellfish, fish and shrimp, and seaweed are exposed at low tide.
