The port has a -1.0 depth water wharf of 131m and a berth of 2,000 m2, a -2.5m depth water wharf of 204m and a berth of 2,850 m2. Vessels of Shimen Fishing Port are mostly engaged in drift gillnet and long line fisheries. Their catches are mostly lobster, Mi-iuy croaker and fishes with high economic value and are transported to surrounding restaurants.
The lobsters are mainly sold through Fuji Fish Outlet Center directly or to Japan.
