【New Taipei City】Autumn has arrived, and the crabs are getting plump. Today (14th), Mayor of New Taipei City Hou Yu-ih joined local fishermen on a boat and returned with the season's first batch of Wanli crabs, marking the official kickoff of the Wanli Crab Season and the opening of the Yeliou Holidays Live Crab Market. The Fisheries and Fishing Port Affairs Management Office of the New Taipei City Government invites everyone to “spend some time” (“Hua-Dian-Shi-Jian,” which phonetically refers to the flower crab, three-spot swimming crab, and ridged swimming crab, collectively known as the Wanli Crab) along the northern coast to enjoy delicious food and leisurely autumn days during the Wanli Crab Season.
