This year, Lan Lan Cat and its family who are loved by people are invited to fishing ports, the habitats of Wanli crabs, to have fun with everyone by adding joyful atmosphere to the fishing ports with lively and interesting pictures. You can join a raffle featuring crabs, enjoy promotions provided by restaurants, scramble to buy mystery grab bags and savor limited menus offered by a five-star restaurant in addition to taking photos with Lan Lan Cat by using a filter on your cellphone. Yehliu Holiday Live Crab Market Officially Opens on Mid-Autumn Festival for People to Scramble to Buy Wanli Crab Mystery Grab Bags with Super Value! Five-Star Restaurant Promotes a Limited Menu during Wanli Crab Season
The highly praised Yehliu holiday live crab market will be open for business on weekends and national holidays starting this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival on September 29 and running through November 26! Strictly selected and freshly caught Wanli crabs will be sold at the market, and vendors will steam or cook the crabs for their customers. Additionally, to celebrate the arrival of the Wanli crab season, a special sale for the mystery grab bags of Wanli crabs will be held at the crab market at 1:30PM on September 29. 100 mystery grab bags with 1.2-kilogram live crabs will be sold for only NT$399 (original price NT$800), along with a free can of Coca-Cola (numbers will be distributed to participants 20 minutes prior to the sale of the mystery grab bags). You do not have to feel discouraged if you are unable to get a mystery grab bag on September 29. To give back to people, fishermen who catch crabs will offer another 100 mystery grab bags with Wanli crabs on October 21 and 22, along with a free bowl of Ve Wong shrimp noodle soup and a free can of Coca-Cola respectively (based on the free items on-site). Moreover, crab catching experience tours (2 sessions each day, and 40 members for each session), fishing village tours (2 sessions each day, and 20 members for each session) and other activities will be organized for people to sign up and participate in for free. By doing so, people will be able to learn more about local crab catching culture while enjoying crab dishes. Furthermore, Mega 50, a five-star restaurant, strictly selects fresh Wanli crabs, and offers an exclusive menu featuring “savoring crabs in autumn” which has been exquisitely created by the restaurant’s chef. The menu includes “Steamed Flower Crabs with Sunkist Navel Orange,” “Three-spotted Crab Casserole with Satay Century Egg,” “Crab and Shrimp Dumplings” that are only sold in the afternoon, and other special dishes to bring an ultimate feast to people’s taste bud.

Lan Lan Cat Brightens up Fishing Ports!
This year, Wanli crabs will be seen in the cultural and creative industries with Lan Lan Cat and its family. An exclusive filter of “Wanli crabs V.S. Lan Lan Cat” will be offered from Mid-Autumn Festival on September 29 to November 26 at the four major places of origin of Wanli crabs of Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf, Fuji Fishing Port, Guihou Fishing Port and Yehliu Fishing Port. People can try the exclusive filter by scanning the QR code to let the Wanli crab mascot and Lan Lan Cat appear in their photos. The dining area of Fuji Fishing Port located in the Wing B has been decorated with the “fish market exhibition featuring fresh seafood and Lan Lan Cat” with the cute illustrations of the character. Additionally, Lan Lan Cat and its family will be invited to have fun with visitors on October 14. Moreover, from September 29 to October 29, you can join a raffle featuring crabs to win a NT$100 coupon, “Wanli crabs V.S. Lan Lan Cat” cultural and creative goods and other gifts (100 gifts on each day) with the presentation of your story shared on Facebook or Instagram and the completion of designated tasks for any consumption of NT$1,000 or above at Fuji Fish Market and Guihou Fish Market on weekends. Last year, Wanli crabs cooperated with Fubon Guardians, a local baseball team, to organize the “Wanli Crab Baseball Theme Day” which was highly praised. Therefore, we have invited Fubon Angels’ popular team members, Lemon and Dan-Dan, this year to serve as a one-day store manager and interact with vendors at Fuji Fish Market and the interim market of Guihou Fisherman’s Market on October 14 and 15 respectively. The two team members will support local fresh seafood with their youth and vitality. Meanwhile, they will live stream to show the audience around the fishing ports. To give back to the audience, they will give out 3 one-thousand-new-Taiwan-dollar coupons for the fish markets in a raffle!
