Located in Tamsui District of New Taipei City,Tamsui No. 2 Fishing Port has a -2.5m water depth wharf of 811m and a berth of 32,600m2, a -2.5m to 3m water depth wharf of 1,054m and a berth of 14,400 m2, and water depth of 3.5m and a berth of 49,300 m2.Vessels of Tamsui No. 2 Fishing Port are mostly engaged in drift gillnet, driftnet, long line, pole and lines boots and pot fisheries in oceans around Taoyuan and Sanzhi. The vessels usually travel within a day and work 5 nautical miles away from the coast. As for powered fishing vessels, they can have their working area extended to the cross-strait median, but also travel within a day for the work.

Their main catches are eel larvae, whitebaits, Japanese black porgy and Spanish mackerels.
