The port has a berth of 0.41 hectares, water depth of -2.0m and wharf of 343m. Mainly engaged in gill net, stick-held dip net, long line, and pole and lines boots in oceans around Keelung Islet and Sandiao Bay, vessels of Longdong normally leave early and return late, or leave late and return early.
Their catches are mostly Butterfishes, skipjack tuna, Bigfin reef squid, neritic squid, lobster and grouper. Besides, the port is featured with convenient transportation as it is next to the coastal road in northern Taiwan.
