Magang Fishing Port

Magang Fishing Village have preserved some old stone houses and there are flat abrasion platforms around, which are good locations to introduce life in the intertidal zone. Built by exploding and digging the gravel beach, the port was invested by the City government in 1969.
It has a berth of 0.73 hectares and a wharf of 514m. Vessels are mostly engaged in inshore fisheries including gill net, stick-held dip net, long line, and pole and lines boot in oceans around Guishan Islet and Sandiao Bay.
The vessels travel forth and back within a day and their main catches are Butterfishes, skipjack tuna, neritic squid, Bigfin reef squid, lobster and miscellaneous fishes.
