The port is the auxiliary port of Shenao Fishing Port and the vessels are engaged in fishing (mainly pole and lines boots, then stick-held dip net fishery) and recreational activities along the coast and in oceans around the Pengjia Islet.
Their catches are usually freshly caught whitebaits, neritic squid and miscellaneous fishes. There is no fish market in this port and all the catches are sold by fishermen in Ruifang or along the port.
